iPad Price Cuts Hint at Imminent iPad Launch

iPad price cuts hint at imminent iPad launch

Shops are cutting prices, tongues are wagging
Virgin Media staff testing the Wi-Fi at Chancery Lane using iPadsBIG RETAILERS in the US are cutting the prices of some iPad models, suggesting that more Apple tablets are on the way.
Apple's iPads lead the sales charts in the tablet market, and deservedly so, for the most part. So when their prices are cut it can only mean one thing, that Apple is about to release more iPad models.
According to a report at CNN Money and Tech, Wal-Mart, Best Buy and MacMall have all started putting gaudy sale price stickers with reductions of up to 30 percent on the iPad Mini and the third generation iPad.
It's hedge your bets time. Are you going to rush out and buy a cheap iPad now that you have the chance, only to feel Betamaxed when the new models are announced, or sit back and cool your heels, and wait for the announcement?
Apple doesn't comment on rumour or speculation, and this would fall in those categories. While we have contacted the retailers mentioned to see if they will tell us that Apple plans to announce a new iPad soon, we are still awaiting responses.
Apple just recently applied a lick of paint to its fourth generation iPad when at the end of January it released a 128GB model with a Retina display.
The fourth generation iPad was announced along with the iPad Mini last November. Apple sold a combined three million of them in three days. The last iPad announced before that debuted in March 2012, just over a year ago and two years after the release of the first model.  (by:hhttp://www.theinquirer.net)
